MicroaventurasVol 1

After almost a year of work, many ideas, many decisions and above all a lot of enthusiasm, “Microaventuras Vol 1” finally was born.

This publication is not just a collection of beautiful photos, it is a celebration of the connection with nature, of the bonds of friendship that are created in it and above all of the power of the tangible, of what we touch.

In an increasingly digital world, where images slide across our screens and disappear in an instant. I believe that nature, photography and books can teach us something fundamental: the importance of stopping, looking, and connecting with the moment and with people.

When 4 years ago I started publishing these Microadventures on Instagram with the idea of inspiring people to go to the mountains, little did I imagine that this would end up in a book.

But I soon realized that the 2,200 characters and 10 photos on Instagram limited me too much, I spent too much time cutting out texts and selecting photos, for a post that after a few hours no one would see again.

So I started to think about how to make my adventures go a little further and become something that would not be diluted over time, something that would be a sensory experience, as well as a visual one, and there paper always wins.

Because when you hold a book in your hands, there is a connection that you can't replicate on a screen. The feel of the paper, the weight of the book, the detail in the photographs: all of this gives much more depth to the experience.

And thus this "Microaventures Vol I" was born, a collectible object, a physical reminder of what it means to stop, look and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

Everything has been designed to maximize the experience: The type of paper, the spine, the design, the QRs with the hikes....

I hope this is the first of many volumes, but for me, the simple fact that it is real and makes me very happy.
